the product looks wonderful and is properly built. I don't have a duct leading outside the residence so i followed the instructions to recirculate the air into the kitchen. Installation wasn't too negative but not effortless (one of the 4 screws needs an extremely lengthy(8"+) screw driver to reach into, it is within the corner so it really is important to install, expect to scratch your hands reaching it), our kitchen cabinet had troubles and i had to custom cut a thin sheet of plywood.... 1 major concern i have now could be the noise, on 'high' setting it becomes unbarable, the air rushing out of the vent and into our kitchen area generates high noise, i put a short piece of scotch tape covering a modest component of the duct to make it less noisy. And do not expect that no matter what you cook it's going to be sucked in, the cfm rating is high but the squirrel cage is on the left side not in the center, so you've got to cook below it to have far better final results(however it is never as you would like it, which is watching every little thing sucked in with force into the filters). Also, in the event you install it with out a duct don't anticipate to remove the food smell in the residence as you might be recirculating the air, only moist and some particles would stick inside the filters (which is critical), but the smell will nonetheless be there....
