I wanted a hood vent that didn't look as plain as the brands of the shelf at the hardware store but I also didn't would like to invest really a lot on this appliance purchase. With the flip down glass shield it provides it a slightly modern day and customized appear. Product operates nicely. No instructions in my box however it isn't rocket science to hang 1 of these. Much better for new construction than attempting to retrofit into the US regular in exhaust hoods. (More...)

I put this in to replace a 45 year old Broan exhaust fan. The reality that the prior fan lasted so long encouraged me to obtain yet another Broan. The fact that this fan was concerning the greatest priced simple 36" Stainless Steel I could locate sealed the deal. Installation was incredibly easy as I already had the duct function in location. The "walls" of the fan are a bit thin, so caution is needed when installing. Having said that, this is labeled their "economy" fan, so that is definately expected. It's not whisper quiet, but I feel the noise level is fair for this cost point. I would not suggest this to somebody remodeling thier kitchen and wants some lower priced "nice stuff". Spend the added $100 or so and get the next level up. For my situation where I'm holding off on putting anything "real nice" within the kitchen and I had to replace an old exhaust fan that broke with bad timing as we strategy our remodel, (More...)

Moved into a home with an old non vented 36" stainless Roper range hood having a non working, obsolete fan motor. We're not ready for a significant remodel to the kitchen just yet so wanted to get a functioning and affordable replacement. Much less than $90 such as shipping to my front door in less than a week was a pretty acceptable quick fix. This Broan unit is also an exact mounting replacement to the old unit so installation couldn't have been significantly less difficult! (More...)

We have installed the hood 3 weeks ago by ourselves. The vent duct we installed is vertical, goes via kitchen cabinet, attic and roof (We got the hood at Lowes, but vent duct, roof cap, flash had been from Homedepot). The instruction is clear, easily to follow. I and my wife are incredibly pleased. All odors after cooking now are gone. Pros: This is actually a good product. Looks incredibly sleek with 4 fan speeds: 3 initially speed (up to 300cfm) was quiet, the Increase speed - 430cfm is really a bit noisy, but that is ok. Akdy 36" European Style Az668is2 Stainless Steel Island Mount Range Vent Hood Product Review

I bought this range hood when we remodeled our kitchen and it looks terrific. The touchscreen display is often a good feature. I definitely haven't definitely put the hood by way of heavy use but, but it appears to work well. I can't genuinely comment on the installation as I had it accomplished by the contractor. The only minor cons are the light is really a little too dim and also the clock is on military time. Haven't figured out how to change it or for those who can alter it. Overal a terrific invest in.
